Secure AI Engineering is the discipline of building and defending AI systems — and it sits on the single largest cybersecurity skills gap in the market. This cohort-based track takes engineers from confident AI use to securing and operating AI in production.

Stage 1 — Applied AI & Agentic Systems for Engineers

A hands-on foundation in using generative and agentic AI the way senior engineers do: structured prompting, agentic workflows with tools like Claude Cowork and Code, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) basics, and the guardrails that keep AI use safe and repeatable. Built on a proven structured-prompt framework, not toy demos.

Stage 2 — AI/LLM Security & Secure AI Infrastructure

The specialization: securing LLM applications, RAG pipelines, agents and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Covers AI threat modeling, the OWASP LLM Top 10, prompt-injection and data-exfiltration defenses, access control for tools and data, guardrails, and evaluation harnesses that prove a system is safe before it ships.

Stage 3 — Production AI (MLOps/LLMOps) & AI-Security Credential

Operate AI at scale and safely: deployment patterns, monitoring and observability, evaluation in production, cost and drift management, and AI governance. Culminates in preparation toward a recognised AI-security credential (for example ISACA's AAISM), for which your CISM background is a natural fit.
